Mac OS Setup | #3 - Emojis (???)

23:06 - How do I paste emojis on mac keyboard?

Since my last macOS post I have been daily driving Macbook except work, where I prefer Windows for C# development.

And I will continue this topic/thread, because I like to compare the systems and also I still find it sometimes hard to do something on one system, but not the other.

But okay, let’s get back to emojis. So where are they?

I have macbook, which still has this cool thing called touchbar. Most of the internet does not like it, but I think it can be really cool, and I mainly like that I can increase the volume with slide of finger instead of mashing buttons which I do whole day while coding.

Support has little text:

Express yourself with emoji. In some apps, you can choose an emoji instead of words for a fun way to make your point. Tap the Emoji button to display the emoji. Swipe to scroll through options, organized by category, such as “Frequently Used,” “Smileys & People,” “Travel & Places,” and more. Tap to select the emoji you want.

This works, but as said in some apps.

So where are they? They are hidden when you are in insert mode than when you hit:

Control + Command + Space

The emojis will show up. Funnily enough, you can’t find this even on Apple page when you search for emojis Macbook Pro Essentials So now I can finish my post for social media with emojis 👌. 🚀

That is all for today, but thank you and see you next time.
